Wireless X-ray USB Module
Wireless X-ray makes it possible for NDT technicians to reach inspection areas that would otherwise be inaccessible, even with a portable system. Working with cables can be very cumbersome in some given field conditions. Based on digital wireless, Vidisco′s WiFi X simplifies the set up of the portable digital radiography system down range with no cables. The Vidisco WiFi X digital wireless USB module enables direct wireless communication between the laptop located in the control unit at a safe distance, and the built-in wireless transceiver of the ICU located at the digital radiography testing site.

WiFi X provides fast, reliable and consistent wireless X-ray data transfer, up to a distance of up to 300 m (line of sight). The NDT technician can decide whether to use cables for the digital radiology system or wireless communication and still obtain long distance communication from the control unit to the NDT testing site.
 
The module is light, battery free, and easily connected to the laptop via a USB port. With a mounting bracket, the module can be attached to the case lid for higher positioning. When using a high power antenna, even greater distances can be achieved.
