Vidisco has designed several configurations for the RayzorXPro digital portable X-ray system with the aim of meeting the NDT operator’s specific needs in a range of scenarios.  The guiding principle is that no matter the configuration, a single individual can carry the entire system, including the X-ray source and all of the wireless accessories, to the desired destination. In the digital portable X-ray systems the casing doubles as an operation platform, streamlining work in the field.

Laboratory Configuration
Vidisco offers the RayzorXPro for laboratory use in NDT. The thin, high energy compatible DDA imager is equipped with a desktop PC, ICU and cables for lab set up. The Vidisco proprietary XbitPro software, which enables high level analysis of results, comes with a comprehensive database. This unique database, which can be located on the laboratory network, serves as a digital laboratory documentation center for future learning and sharing with easy import/export functions and a simple query module. Connection and control of most industrial X-ray sources can be achieved directly via the software. An optional high-resolution screen can be provided.

 Dual Use: Laboratory
This configuration makes it especially easy for an NDT operator to use the Vidisco RayzorXPro system both in the laboratory and at onsite inspections. The portable case houses a laptop, DDA imager and also has room for a portable pulsed X-ray source, thus serving as a unit that can be transported to any location for inspection. The PC desktop and screen enable connection of the same DDA imager and ICU in the laboratory. A high-resolution screen is available as an option.
Vidisco’s Proprietory XbitPro software is available on both the laptop and desktop PC, thus enabling dual use of the system in the lab and outside of it. The software’s database may be located on the laboratory network. Most industrial X-ray sources can be connected to and controlled by the software. Highly compatible, the RayzorXPro is equally effective in a laboratory or in outdoor conditions.
