Dual Use: Laboratory
This configuration makes it especially easy for an NDT operator to use the Vidisco RayzorXPro system both in the laboratory and at onsite inspections. The portable case houses a laptop, DDA imager and also has room for a portable pulsed X-ray source, thus serving as a unit that can be transported to any location for inspection. The PC desktop and screen enable connection of the same DDA imager and ICU in the laboratory. A high-resolution screen is available as an option.
Vidisco’s Proprietory XbitPro software is available on both the laptop and desktop PC, thus enabling dual use of the system in the lab and outside of it. The software’s database may be located on the laboratory network. Most industrial X-ray sources can be connected to and controlled by the software. Highly compatible, the RayzorXPro is equally effective in a laboratory or in outdoor conditions.
