Introducing the Improved Production Version of the Slider 2 X 2The improved production version of Vidisco’s robust Slider 2 X 2 is now available
The Slider 2 X 2 is an outstanding accessory which enhances flexibility of operation of the RayzorX and more veteran FoX-Rayzor digital portable X-ray systems by auto-shifting the Imager from afar and covering an image area that is four times larger than that of the RayzorX. Four acquired images are blended into a large area image. As only a single approach is required, down range time is dramatically reduced.
The Slider 2 X 2 offers 44 X 44cm imaging area alongside 14 bit imaging and a pixel size of only 143 Microns (3.5 lp/mm). In addition, it achieves a penetration level of 1mm of lead behind over 30mm of steel in the Slider 2 X 2 mode (the standalone RayzorX penetrates over 70mm). All of these features combined enable this product to exceed the performance of any comparable product in the market. Due to the fact that the digital portable X-ray system operates on the ICU’s battery, no additional battery or charger is needed. Additionally, the compact Slider 2 X 2 can easily be hand carried to any inspection site.

Fully controlled from a distance by Vidisco’s XBit proprietary software, the operator can capture one, two or four consecutive combined images as needed. Providing the most cost-effective, high-quality solution for large imaging areas, Slider 2 X 2 automatically displays images side by side, creating one large image which can be saved as a single unit in the database. With the active imaging area starting near to the bottom and side, the dead area is reduced to a minimum.
Packed in a light, protective carrying case, the rugged Slider 2 X 2 features full- weather design for operation even in the most challenging conditions.
Vidisco’s FoX-Rayzor and RayzorX systems offer optional wireless solutions, ensuring optimal operational flexibility. These systems fully support all Golden X-ray sources and constant potential X-ray with full control cables or wireless.
