Introducing A New and Improved Vidisco Product: The XR-DE Plus

Enabling enhanced IED detection, Vidisco’s revolutionary XR-DE Plus module allows you to create Dual Energy X-ray imaging with a Golden Engineering pulsed X-ray source and Vidisco digital flat imager systems; BlazeX, RayzorX and FlashX.

The new and improved XR-DE Plus module is now equipped with built-in wireless, thereby eliminating the need for a cable between the X-ray source and the ICU. Thus, both the XR-DE Plus module and the pulsed X-ray source can be controlled via wireless communication.
 
With scores of units deployed all over the world, this is the only proven model worldwide that provides Dual Energy X-ray imaging using pulsed X-ray sources which detect and differentiate between organic and inorganic materials all in one shot. 

The fully-automated process enables differentiation by displaying the various materials in different colors: Organic materials appear in Orange, whereas soft inorganic materials (such as glass) show up in hues of Green; hard inorganic materials (such as metals) are colored in shades of Blue.
