The X-ray product inspection camera add-on can be connected to the ICU of the portable digital radiography inspection system  at the testing site to take live color pictures and video of a suspect item (wireless option not available). The security operator is able to document the suspect object and its status on the spot using the X-ray product inspection camera add-on. If anything changes externally (like smoking IED), the bomb tech is alerted immediately regarding this visual change. The exact location where the digital radiography inspection was conducted is also documented for future reference and intelligence purposes. The external images are stored in the Xbit software database linked to the X-ray images in real time, thus completing the documentation of the entire X-ray inspection process.
