Laboratory Configuration
BlazeXPro is highly effective in laboratory NDT applications. The portable DDA imager combines with a desktop PC, ICU and cables for convenient and fast set up in the lab. The Vidisco proprietary XbitPro software is equipped with a comprehensive database which can be loaded on the laboratory’s network. The database serves as a digital laboratory documentation center with easy import/export functions and a simple query. All conditions and data regarding the X-ray images (including external photographs) can be documented with the X-ray image as one comprehensive record. Connection and control of most industrial X-ray sources can be achieved directly via the software. An optional high-resolution screen can be provided.

Dual Use: Laboratory and Field
The laboratory and field dual use configuration enables the NDT inspector to operate the Vidisco BlazeXPro system both in the laboratory and at onsite inspections. The entire unit, consisting of a laptop, DDA imager, and the portable pulsed X-ray source, can be set up in record time. The PC desktop and screen connect to the same DDA imager and ICU in the laboratory. An optional high-resolution screen can be provided.
The software’s database may be located on the laboratory network. Most industrial X-ray sources can be connected to and controlled by the software. Vidisco’s proprietory XbitPro software, which is available on both the laptop and desktop PC, enables dual use of the system inside and outside the lab for a comprehensive record of the testing conducted.
