BlazeX Configurations




Designed with high mobility in mind, all configurations housing the entire BlazeX portable X-ray inspection system can be easily carried to any site. The system’s laptop can be operated at a safe distance from the actual object, thereby increasing operator security. The ruggedized case also serves as a work platform, enabling easy set up and streamlined operation.

Ruggedized Case (Standard Configuration)
All of the components of the BlazeX portable X-ray inspection system, including a relatively large area digital flat a-Si panel and wireless accessories, fit snugly into Vidisco’s ruggedized case. Tight spots and rough terrain are no obstacles for the flexible system, which can be set up effectively even in the most rugged conditions. The case, which serves as an operational platform, can be situated at a safe distance from the object under inspection.

Ergonomic Backpack

The BlazeX weather-proof and desert-tested backpack configuration enables the security operator to carry the entire X-ray system to remote sites with relative ease. The backpack, which also serves as a work platform, can be operated from almost any location, including a vehicle. This configuration contains a ruggedized laptop, with sun-readable and touch screen options. The backpack has room for optional wireless accessories and a portable pulsed X-ray source.

Extended Temperature Range
This configuration option was especially designed for security inspections conducted in extreme weather conditions. The Extended Temperature Range BlazeX configuration provides accurate images and in-depth analysis even within a temperature range of -20◦ to + 40◦C. This configuration is available both in a ruggedized case or backpack.

Chaser Configuration
The option to purchase an additional BlazeX flat panel in a separate, lightweight case is offered to security operators. All Vidisco imagers can be interchangeably connected to any given Vidisco X-ray equipment, enabling optimal flexibility. The “Chaser Configuration” enables the utilization of an additional digital flat a-Si panel when necessary.
