Vidisco Integrates Its Portable X-ray Systems with Balteau NDT
Vidisco recently completed the integration of its cutting-edge industrial digital radiography systems with yet another major X-ray source producer, Balteau NDT.
High-end automatic calibrations and noise reduction techniques can be implemented easily thanks to the system’s control of all the necessary parameters of the X-ray source.
Interface is possible with Balteau Spot series control panels (portable X-ray sources), as well as with Balteau Graph series control panels (stationary X-ray sources used in laboratories).
Some of Balteau’s X-ray sources are Pulsed Wave, which means that they work best with a synchronized DR system (synchronization requires connection between the control panel or the X-ray source and the digital portable X-ray machine).
In the wake of advanced technological cooperation between the two companies, it is now possible to control and synchronize Balteau’s X-ray source, including kV, mA and exposure time, using Vidisco’s proprietary XbitPro software.
